Transfer to Hotel Kabuki located in the Japantown and near Fillmore Street area.
Welcome cocktail in the United States and dinner in the Hotel’s Lobby Bar restaurant. After digestive dinner and presentation by Roberto Bonzio, Italian Frontier, expert connoisseur of San Francisco and Silicon Valley “The Frontier of yesterday and of today, from the Far West to the California counter culture to the New Economy, stories and key words to understand San Francisco, Silicon Valley and the role of many Italian protagonists”
Sunday October 20th, 2019.
American breakfast then start surprisingly and with a strong emotional impact. Music as a common thread to enter the spirit of the city, which enhances diversity as a value, with the participation in an unforgettable celebration.
Because San Francisco is the advanced point of Western thought. Stories, protagonists and anecdotes walking with Roberto Bonzio. Dolores Park and alternative party atmosphere, Yerba Buena where everything was born, Market Street main artery, Union Square and the importance of the War of Secession, Chinatown, Gold Race and the wild Costa dei Barbari, North Beach Italian neighborhood cradle of the Beat Generation , Caffè Trieste where they met New Poetry, New Hollywood and … Hippie scientists. Monday October 21, 2019.
After the American breakfast, full immersion in Silicon Valley, to discover visionary characters and dreamers who have changed our lives, Palo Alto and the garage of Hewlett and Packard, birthplace of Silicon Valley. Walk in the beautiful campus of Stanford University, history of its origins (in which Italy played a special role), shopping in the delight store of gadget and sweatshops fans, before the meeting with an Italian researcher among the professors of the prestigious university.
Lunch at Stanford.
In the afternoon, entry to the headquarters of one of the giants of Silicon Valley (Google in Mountain View or LinkedIn in Sunnyvale), guests of an Italian manager who will work and guide us.
Dinner at Woodside in one of Silicon Valley’s craziest and most iconic venues, where historic hi-tech agreements have been signed amid an authentic triumph of bizarre objects on display and hanging from the ceiling, a true repository of curiosities and anecdotes celebrating the eccentricity of the Bay Area.
Return to the end, in San Francisco.
Tuesday October 22, 2019.
After the American Breakfast, another iconic experience to discover the beauties of the bay. Aboard Harley Davidson (two people for motorcycles) will pass by the Golden Gate Bridge to climb along the Conzerman Road along the coast for a breathtaking view of San Francisco and the Bay.
Then we will continue to Muir Woods, a sequoia park (today famous as a set for the series of films of the Planet of the Apes), whose birth is a suggestive metaphor on the relationship between man and nature.
We will continue to Stinson Beach where we will have lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue to the point and lighthouse of Point Reyes where you can admire the colony of seals.
In the evening Dinner in a unique Japanese restaurant of the highest quality.
Also in this dinner, we will deepen the themes of innovation thanks to a special surprise guest.
Wednesday October 23, 2019.
After the American breakfast, get ready for an experience really like real San Francisco citizens cycling on the Presidio Disctrict and along Golden Gate Bridge! Departure from Fisherman Warf along one of the most beautiful areas with breathtaking views of San Francisco surrounded by greenery and nature: Marina District Presidio.
Starting from Fisherman Warf we will discover Palace of Fine Arts, Lucas Studio, stage at the National Cemetery Ocean on the tomb of Carlo Camillo of incredible Rudio “Forrest Gump dell’800” between Risorgimento and West.
Climb up to the Golden Gate Bridge, then the descent to Sausalito, a charming tourist village, among shops and boutiques of quality, discovering the history of so many illustrious citizens, from Jerry Garcia founder of the Grateful Dead, to Otis Redding, to the controversial TV star Bill Cosby.
Lunch in a typical restaurant, return by ferry to the Waterfront in the afternoon, with a spectacular crossing of the Bay, breathtaking panoramic, touching Alcatraz.
In the evening we will reach Berkeley underground for the culinary experience Chez Panisse by Alice Waters, visionary chef who has pushed the Californian cuisine in a totally new direction, introducing the concepts of seasonality and products at zero kilometer
After dinner, we will walk on the campus of Berkeley with story of Mario Savio, student who triggered the ’68 … in 1964.
Thursday October 24, 2019.
After the American breakfast Free morning. Meet at The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market (concept km0 in the theme of Alice Waters) and lunch at your choice in the various gazebos on the market that offer food cooked on the spot.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport for departure
