I was born in ’68, in the heart of the student revolution, which, in some way, must have left a creative imprint of creativity, adaptability and evolution.
Subsequently, I fell in love with cooking, which allowed me to gain invaluable experience, at a very young age, in a 3 star Michelin restaurant in the outskirts of Milano.
The top chefs had not yet emerged from their kitchens to become media stars, but already at the time they were masters in communication, besides in the art of flavors and emotions. I must therefore deduce that it was in those years that I started absorbing the value of the marketing experience.
At the age of 22, after obtaining a Master’s degree in Communications, I began applying those values in the sales sector and thereafter in events management. In fact, in 1990 I started my collaboration with the leading Congress, incentive and events agencies and I was able to provide my contribution during the golden years of the Industry which, after 20 years of relatively low profile, started imposing itself in communication strategies for companies and industry.
Those were the years when I matured my first on-field experiences and obtained my first great personal achievements. For instance, in 1994 I was awarded what was my first public recognition award by the AIMP (Italian Market Planning Association) being nominated “Best Congress Organizer of the Year”.
In 2000, driven by my burning ambition to create and set up my own Company, together with 2 partners, we started Sinergie, an agency specializing in the MICE market, which was subsequently to become a world leader in the sector. In more than seventeen years of constant and double digit growth, in fact, Sinergie became a leader in both Italy and Europe, becoming one of the most important companies in the MICE and Live and Digital Communication sector. It was thus that what had started out as a mere entrepreneurial dream had in grown into a colossus, and a model company in Italy and Europe.
Allow me to say that I am extremely proud of this success.
The Sinergie years were ones of great professional and business growth from a personal point of view, important encounters and constant evolution in the art of communication. This was also due to the interaction and exchanges with the top agencies in the international market and where I personally represented Italy.
I have given a lot of myself in this professional path, but have also received much in return. This is borne out by the numerous prestigious awards given to successful projects which were my brainchild and which I coordinated and were immensely gratifying. (I cite but two in particular: the Assorel prize and two editions of Best Event Awards).
In 2002 I married Afrodite, a wonderful person who has supported me in all of my career choices and who has shared with me all the most important moments of my business and domestic life. She also gave me the indescribable joy of being the proud father of two beautiful children: Lapo and Martino.
Let us now come to the present: 2017 was the start of a new and important stage of my career: a step which I took after careful consideration, which I wanted with all my energies. I left the Sinergie e SG Holding, driven by a deep desire to once again take full charge of my own time, my interests and passions. This was done in order to finally achieve, now that I consider my professional ability to have fully matured, one of my main aims for the future: Experiencing Life.
So, after a canonic sabbatical and some months spent in discovering new “best practices” in various countries around the world, I gave birth to my latest creation, Experientiae (Latin for “experiences”), in order to transform all my know-how collected from previous experiences and create a streamlined but more efficient organization in arranging new and even more powerful experiences.
Emotion is a key word for Experientiae. Anyone can travel the world, but very few have the privilege of actually entering into the history of the places, meet exponents of the local culture and traditions, to participate in ancient rituals, or to have access to marvels which are normally inaccessible. Experientiae is pure stupor, a connection with an intimate and profound dimension of oneself, which is only attainable by distancing yourself from the humdrum of daily life.
Experientiae is my pledge to curious souls.
But to actually make them live experiences which will remain indelible in their memories like cornerstones in their “Castle of my most Beautiful Memories”.
